"Rīgas satiksme" fined 7903 fare dodgers in public transport in October

Statistics of "Rīgas satiksme" on ticket checkups in Riga public transport (buses, trolleybuses and trams) in October 2013.

Number of fare dodgers fined in public transport:

Trolleybuses	2584
Trams	2915
Total:	7903
including:
Fine receipts	5841
Fine bills	2062

It is by 1062 fare dodgers more than in September 2013, when 5941 fare dodgers were fined in public transport.

Number of ticket checkups in public transport:
Buses	9141
Trolleybuses	8164
Trams	5563
Total:	22868

Just to compare – there were 21826 ticket checkups in September 2013, which is by 1042 checkups more than in October 2013.

In October 2013, the maximum number of fined fare dodgers (1073) was on tram route No. 6, but the minimum number (0) on bus route No. 47.
